A Brief history of Dental Implants

Dental Implants have become increasingly successful over the past few decades. Implants were first introduced to people who had difficulty using dentures, as they have lost too much of their jaw line  already, meaning there would be nowhere for the dentures to rest on. It was already well-known that Osseointegration was generally more successful in the dense bone on the front part of the lower jaw.
